Pas de l'Aigle
SECTOR NYON
The immensity of the Alps under your feet.
Take a step into the void at the top of the splendid site of the Pointe de Nyon: Le Pas de l'Aigle
At an altitude of 2019 metres, the 15-metre glass footbridge, attached to the mountain, provides a unique vertiginous sensation. It offers you, 350 meters of vertical distance, a 360° panorama with a breathtaking view between Mont Blanc and Lake Geneva. Access is via the Pointe de Nyon chairlift.
For your comfort and to protect environment, ecological toilets powered by solar panels are available at the top of the Pointe de Nyon.
Once you’ve had your chance to admire the view, you can take the chairlift and return to the Nyon plateau.
If you don’t want to return by chairlift, you can take the hiking trail to the lake of Nyon-Guérin and finish your 1 hour walk at the restaurant of the Pointe de Nyon which offers a new concept to learn about the life of Alpine mountain pastures while enjoying a good time.
Warning: Pas de l’Aigle is not accessible to pedestrians in winter but only in summer
